Standard tuning is EADGBE - we recommend using an electronic tuner for the most accurate results -
1. Push the string through the machinehead and leaving around 2” (55mm) of slack to be wound up.
2. Tuck the loose end of the string under the fixed end and bend upwards as shown.
3. Turn the tuning key so that the loose end is trapped under the fixed end.
4. Continue turning with the string wrapping down the machinehead until you reach the correct pitch.

Guitar Care | Changing Strings | Set-up
Your guitar might look cool when it’s covered in grunge and grime – but to get the best performance and tone you need to look after it.
After every playing session, use a NON-SYNTHETIC cloth to wipe the grunge off your strings before you put it away, this will preserve your string life and keep them sounding fresher for loner. It will also prevent build up of dirt on the fingerboard.
You can clean the body of your guitar with a cloth and a good-quality guitar polish (non-abrasive) – spray the body lightly and gently polish.
Wipe the trem with a cloth also to get rid of any sweat you’ve left behind, this will prevent the metal from becoming tarnished prematurely.

You should change your strings regularly to get the best performance from your instrument – strings needs changing as soon as they start to sound dull – or their silver colour becomes tarnished.

After you’ve owned your guitar for some time, or if you change string gauges, your guitar may require a set-up to ensure it remains in peak playing condition. Unless you are confident in guitar maintenance, we recommend you take your guitar to a qualified technician to carry out the service for you.
